Dentrix has keyboard shortcuts that are programmed to specific letters on the keyboard (called accelerator keys). To use accelerator keys, push the ALT button. Certain letters in fields and menus will be underlined. When you press that letter key, the field or menu will open just as if you had clicked it with the mouse.

For example, if you want to open the Set Head of House dialog box in the Family File, press ALT, then press E to open the Edit menu, and then press H to open the Set Head of House dialog box.
