Did you know that you don’t have to open the Dentrix Smart Image tab to access a Detect AI image when you are in the patient’s Chart? With a couple of clicks, you can quickly access an image with Detect AI annotations from within the Dentrix Patient Chart to show a patient what you are seeing and discuss their treatment.

Here’s how:

In the Patient Chart, click the Image Peek icon that appears above or below the tooth you want to discuss with your patient.

A new window opens allowing you to view the images associated with this tooth and the Detect AI annotations. You can discuss the specifics of a treatment plan with the patient and show them what needs to be done so they are more likely to understand and trust the treatment you are recommending.

Then, after you’re done reviewing the image, close the window to return to he patient’s Chart.
